Ka luajtur në shumë filma vendor e ndërkombëtarë, si Burrnesha nga Laura Bispuri dhe Falja e Gjakut nga Joshua Marston me të cilët u prezantua edhe si aktorja e parë shqiptare në konkurencë zyrtare të Festivalit të filmit – Berlinale në edicionin e 61-të dhe 64-të. Ka luajtur edhe në zhanrin horror në filmin Bloodlands nga Steven Kastrissios , Zana nga Antoneta Kastrati, Gardhi nga Lendita Zeqiraj, e shume filma tjere.
Ilirja në teatër ka luajtur role të shumta nga Shakespeare, T. Williams, Tom Stoppard, Ibsen, me regjisorë të ndryshëm që nga Amerika Veriore, Britania e madhe, Bosnia dhe Hercegovina dhe me këto shfaqje është prezantuar në shumë festivale si në Festivalin e teatrit në Norvegji, Off-off Broadway NY në dy gjuhët shqip e anglisht, Tirane, e Prishtine si dhe ne Operen Epike, Grate Trojane, ne La Mamma ne NY me regji te Andrei Serban. Eshte pjese e Akdemise Evropiane te Filmit dhe e nominuar per here te dyte ne Ligen e Grave Profesioniste te Teatrin me seli ne NY. Ka marre cmime dhe mirenjohje te shumta si aktore ne film e teater.
Punon në Fakultetin e Arteve të Universitetit të Prishtinës që nga 1996, është e certifikuar nga Nottingham Playhouse edhe si edukatore për mosha të ndryshme. Ajo është edhe këngëtare mexo soprano dhe e ushtron këndimin si hobi.

She has played in many local and international films, such as Burrnesha by Laura Bispuri and Falja e Gjakut by Joshua Marston, with whom she was introduced as the first Albanian actress in the official competition of the Berlinale Film Festival in the 61st and 64th editions. She also starred in the horror genre in the film Bloodlands by Steven Kastrissios, Zana by Antoneta Kastrati, Gardhi by Lendita Zeqiraj, and many other films.
Ilirja in the theater has played many roles from Shakespeare, T. Williams, Tom Stoppard, Ibsen, with different directors from North America, Great Britain, Bosnia and Herzegovina and with these performances has been presented in many festivals such as the Theater Festival in Norway, Off-off Broadway NY in both Albanian and English languages, Tirana, and Prishtina as well as in the Epic Opera, Trojan Women, in La Mamma in NY directed by Andrei Serban. She is part of the European Film Academy and is nominated for the second time in the League of Professional Women of Theater based in NY. She has received numerous awards and recognitions as an actress in film and theater.
She has been working at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prishtina since 1996, and is certified by the Nottingham Playhouse as an educator for different ages. She is also a mexo soprano singer and practices singing as a hobby.
